Arcane Knowledge
There are objects of magic in our mysterious world that can be used to cast spells. These wands and staves do not simply work for anybody who waves them around... the wielder of these items must know how to focus and trigger the energy within these objects. Arcane Knowledge is a general knowledge of how to utilize magic wands and staves. Without it, they are simply items to show off at the nearest Inn.
Prerequisite(s): Magic Lore.
Syntax: none (automatic).
This skill is often highly useful to characters of spellcasting classes (like psionicists, mages, and clerics). It enables characters to brandish wands and staves, which allows them to cast spells like Heal or Sanctuary on many characters simultaneously while consuming brandishes rather than mana.
