Every AVATAR MUD room may have up to six non-magical exits, each of which has a direction and may be of at least one type; these types are categorized here.

In addition, some rooms may have at least one magical exit via certain objects within them, namely portals, nexuses, and some fountains; these objects are categorized elsewhere.
