The room is no-exit and packed with mobs that eat corpses and detonate and stomp gear. If your group can clear the room and wants to camp, the best room in which to do so is 1n of the commander. A mob in the room 1w has the leggings.  The commander also wields the silver sword, a 30/30 +5str weapon.
