Some AVATAR MUD doors are lockable. Such doors are usually closed and locked each time that their area is "reset". Players may move beyond closed locked doors by using at least one of four techniques, which are as follows:
1) Players who find, obtain, and carry a closed locked door's associated key may unlock it and then open it. This technique will not work for doors that have no associated key.
2) Players who know how to pick locks may pick a closed locked door's lock and then open it. This technique will not work for doors that are pickproof.
3) Players who know how to bash doors may bash a closed locked door open. This technique will not work for doors that are bashproof.
4) Players who can magically pass doors may move through closed locked doors without interacting with them. This technique will not work for doors that are passproof.
