To find the book of barkskin, find the lava fissure and follow it until you reach a down exit (appears to be in the western part). Open the door north and kill all the mobs in the cavern. When the last mob is killed, a grim sentry will k-spawn before the locked door in the center of the cavern. Kill it for the key. The mobs inside are larger than the others, but shouldn't be harder than the mobs at the entrance to Cinderheim. The three mummies carry one hit/ac piece each - pretty nice gear for new lords. He who remembers carries the spellbook.

NOTE: If the anchor is already in Cinderheim, you could probably manage this run with a smaller group.
