Like banks, you need to be in a certain place to use this command. Appraising an object while in the same room as a Smith will give you a price on how much the Smith will repair your object for you. Remember! A Smith will repair your object perfectly, which is better than your own. This is also a good command to use for testing for the existence of a Smith in your room.
Syntax: appraise <object>.
